Congratulations to Immaculate Heart’s Speech & Debate Team! A small group of students recently attended the Jack Howe Memorial Tournament at California State University, Long Beach, and they enjoyed great success.
Senior Ysabel Diaz (second from left) was a semi-finalist in Expository Speaking, putting her among the top 12 competitors. Senior McKenna Hendrickson (left) was a semi-finalist in Congressional Debate, and senior Cameron Hendrickson (right) placed ninth in Congressional Debate, making her one of the top speakers in the event. Also pictured is fellow teammate Daniela Elizondo, who competed in Lincoln Douglas Debate along with junior Mia Speier (not pictured), congratulating the award winners. Go Pandas!
